About Me
Hi! I’m Alexis Yax, a Marketing major at Texas Tech University with a passion for data-driven strategy, digital marketing, and helping others succeed. I’m currently pursuing my B.B.A. in Marketing through the Rawls College of Business and the Honors College, and I’ll be graduating in December 2025.
With a strong academic foundation (3.81 GPA, Dean’s and President’s Lists), I’ve had the opportunity to develop both analytical and creative skills through coursework like Marketing Research & Analysis, Business Analytics, and Strategic Management.
Beyond the classroom, I serve as a Supplemental Instructor Leader for Math 1330, where I lead large group review sessions and collaborate with faculty to improve student outcomes. I also bring years of experience in leadership and operations from my seasonal work as a Lifeguard Manager and Swim Instructor with the City of Austin.
I'm also certified in Google Analytics, HubSpot Content Marketing, and Inbound Marketing—and I'm always exploring new ways to merge marketing, data, and technology.
